What Are Tape Hair Extensions?
Tape extensions use thin wefts with professional adhesive tabs that are fitted around sections of natural hair. The attachment is designed to sit close to the head. Tape is left in between appointments and requires professional maintenance as the natural hair grows.
No permanent extension method is risk-free. Appropriate weight, placement, maintenance and careful removal are important to reduce unnecessary stress on natural hair.
Who May Be Suitable for Tape Extensions?
Tape can suit some clients seeking a flat, discreet attachment and who are comfortable with regular professional maintenance. It may suit some fine-to-medium hair types when natural density, condition, extension weight and placement are appropriate. Nicole will assess suitability before fitting.

Appointments are one-on-one at Original Diva’s private Hunters Hill salon. Your consultation includes an in-person colour assessment and discussion of your desired length, density and maintenance commitment. Clients visit from the North Shore, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Western Sydney and greater Sydney.

Maintenance and Reapplication
Tape extensions are commonly reviewed around every 6–8 weeks, but timing varies with natural hair growth, condition and placement. At maintenance, the extensions are professionally removed and may be retaped and reused when the condition of the hair and tabs remains suitable.
