This is the most common question I hear — and the hardest one for most Sydney salons to answer directly on their website. Here are the real numbers, what they include, and why price differences exist.

The main variables are: (1) hair quality — 100% Remy Silicone-free hair costs more to source than mixed-grade; (2) technician experience — a 25-year specialist in a private studio vs. a general salon; (3) location — Double Bay and Paddington salons carry higher overheads than Hunters Hill; (4) inclusions — some quotes include the hair, others quote installation only.
The cheapest quote in Sydney is almost never the best value. A $200 “full head” is not the same product as a $1,200 full head — the hair quality difference alone determines whether your extensions last 9 months or 9 weeks.
