1. Confirm the material

2. Ask about processing and construction

Remy generally describes hair with cuticles aligned in the same root-to-tip direction. It is not a synonym for all human hair. Ask what the supplier can substantiate about processing, colour treatment, density through the ends and attachment construction. Grade labels are not a substitute for a clear specification.

3. Understand a silicone-free claim

4. Compare care and replacement needs
